transparency with a twist

you see right through me

beneath the glass

below my eyelids

lays a blank movie screen

replay my memories.

1, 2, 3, 4...

everything was easier then.

everything was harder then.

everything was luxury then.

everything was free then.

everything was new then.

everything was old then.

everyone was a stranger then.

everyone was a friend then.

everything was normal then.

everything was strange then.

childhood awaits.

i miss you already

your light shines so brightly

i'm almost blinded

but i can see you

with my eyes closed.

voodoo child

you got me, i'm stuck here
trapped by my heart
held in your hand
like an arrow right through me,
pinning me to you.
except i don't really mind.
